The Council procured a Joint Venture Partner (JVP) with which to enter into a corporate joint venture arrangement (JVA). The purpose of the JVA, which will have an intended duration of 30 years, is to seek commercial benefit to the joint venture partners by delivering heat networks in Cheshire East.
The JVP will, through the JV and the JVA, provide the following services and works:
1) Consultancy and professional services to ensure that the Council can maximum the use of renewable resources particularly geothermal energy in line with the Council's vision for energy to address fuel poverty and increase energy independence.
2) Consultancy and professional services to ensure that the JV realises its full commercial benefit.
3) Works and services related to an initial project based on exploitation of the geothermal resources found in the area.
Works and services provided through the JVA are anticipated to range from 1 000 000 GBP to 100 000 000GBP but no volume or quantity will be guaranteed.
The values given in this notice are estimations only and the Council gives no guarantee or warranty or makes any representation as to the accuracy of any indicative volumes or as to the projects (if any) that will be pursued under the JVA.
