ECMWF, as the Entrusted Entity for the delivery of Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS)and Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), issued contracts for the provision of 'Copernicus User Learning Services’.
The objective of the contracts which were awarded under the 2 lots of the ITT, is the provision of learning services in order to support existing and new users to make best use of Copernicus data and products. These learning services will also increase the uptake of the Copernicus Climate Change Service and Atmosphere Monitoring Service respectively targeting those working in industry sectors such as energy,insurance and water; policy-makers and local government planners; and academic and science communities.
ITT was launched and awarded under the 2 lots as below:
— “Lot 1: Building and supporting the technical infrastructure for the Copernicus learning services” which will provide a suite of externally hosted technical tools in support of the learning services and will be integrated into the Copernicus website to provide a seamless user experience and support the brand.
— “Lot 2: Building and delivering training content” which will be deliver the development of a training strategy, gathering of information on training needs and knowledge gaps, content development, organisation and delivery of training events and assessment of the effectiveness of the training activities.
