The aim of the project is to develop a better understanding of post-EU Exit UK (sea) ports capacity, in particular in a 'no deal' scenario, and to improve the Defra evidence base on the degree to which UK ports can accommodate displaced freight traffic from the Channel corridor. It is anticipated that this work will be an update of analysis procured by Defra in 2012 and 2015.
