SAP has been used by the Council and ESCC for the past 14 years and is overseen by the in-house team for Orbis. The team are building 1, 2 and 3 line support skills and knowledge in-house. Where this is not possible they are looking to build relationships with a range of suppliers via the creation and maintenance of the DPS. The support and expertise ordered through the DPS will include, but is not limited to developing services, writing code, providing technical support, assisting and advising on functionality / module implementation, integration and any other work in the Council’s SAP landscape(s). The overall aim of this DPS is to help the Councils achieve the agreed principles of joint working to develop their SAP systems. The DPS is split into 12 categories which are broken down and explained in the online documentation.
