The Department of Health and Social Care (the Authority) is looking to engage a Service Provider to provide the Authority with assured access to an express freight capability to maintain the uninterrupted supply of medicines and medical products where there is an urgent need or where a suppliers' own logistics arrangements are disrupted.

The requirement is divided into three lots, namely:-
1. Express Freight Services
2. Pallet Services; and
3. Specials.
Key elements include: mobilisation of service, capacity assurance, capacity flexibility, managed service, supplier services & value for money.
The service(s) will need to be fully operational by 24th October 2019 to allow for testing in advance of full operational sign off by the 31st October 2019.
