National Grid Gas (NGG) is seeking market feedback in relation to their contract strategy which pursues the creation of strategic partnerships for the delivery of control system and cyber enhancement works. These works refer to the replacement, refurbishment and system integration of station and unit control systems, telemetry, metering, gas quality and boundary control systems, as well as related electrical and cyber enhancement works and associated civil works. NGG are currently exploring the appointment of 3 strategic partners, each one with a geographical allocation of works, to deliver the RIIO T2 and potentially RIIO T3 control systems and cyber enhancement capital plan. The purpose of this PIN is to inform the market of this forthcoming opportunity and to seek feedback in relation to a number of areas of the contract strategy — see Section II.2.14) below.
