The NPCC, under their Transforming Forensics Programme acting through Dorset Police as their host, intend to establish a framework for digital forensics services.The framework is planned to have a maximum period of 48 months.It is anticipated the framework will be awarded by 31.12.2019 with an operative commencement date on or before 31.1.2020.It is envisaged call-off contracts may be agreed for:(i) ‘Contracted Services’; contracting authorities will have the capability to place orders for an expected, anticipated or committed volume or percentage of particular digital forensics services;(ii) ‘Spot Buy Services’; contracting authorities may place ad hoc orders to deal with situations of critical need, unexpected demand or in response to other changes in the technology or in the market.Services (including data processing, analysis or reporting) will be performed in the UK. Other jurisdictions with comparable accreditations and standards may be used by exception.
