Tourism NI would like to procure a shared 360-degree virtual reality (VR) immersive theatre that can be placed at various tourist sites across Northern Ireland, where accessibility or weather conditions may limit the visitor’s experience. The VR theatre may become an attraction in itself. A shared VR structure allows multiple people to view the same VR experience without the use of headsets, it is a 360-degree theatre-like experience. The scope of this contract includes the theatre (physical structure) and projection technology, plus support and maintenance of the equipment throughout the duration of the contract. This contract does not include content.
