The Council wishes to procure a high-quality experienced provider to deliver employment and community-based support to economically inactive residents aged 16+, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
A core offer should be provided, along with a broad range of support, designed with economic foundation in mind which engage economically inactive people in activities to become work ready. Employment will be one localised measure, but so too will be the engagement and confidence of participants to progress onto volunteering and other community-based opportunities. Support may include a mix of localised outreach, key worker, advice sessions, workshops, events and activities to link participants to the labour market, support around the cost of living, and referring participants to other services, as necessary. The Council encourages responders to consider a wide range of innovative delivery models.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
